• Identification and contact data: first and last name, email address, phone number, language preference.
• Address and property data: full address of the property to be inspected, type of dwelling, surface area, year of construction.
• Booking and invoicing data: reference number, booked services, date and time, amounts, payment status.
• Inspection results: geo-tagged photos of the property, checklists and findings, attestations.
• Communication: emails and notes regarding your file.
• Technical data: IP address and session data for security and audit purposes.

• Performance of the inspection contract , to schedule your inspection, carry it out and deliver the attestation.
• Legal obligation , accounting (7-year retention period) and retention of attestations (10 years).
• Legitimate interest , platform security, audit logs and fraud prevention.

• Accounting documents: 7 years (Belgian VAT Code).
• Attestations and inspection reports: 10 years.
• Customer data: 3 years after your last inspection; then anonymised or deleted.
• Audit logs and email communication: 12 months.

With our inspectors (solely for the performance of your inspection), with our hosting and email provider (within the EU) and with our accountant. We do not sell your data to third parties.

We do not send you spam emails; we only retain your data for as long as we actually need it.

You have the following rights:

• Access , what do we hold about you? You can request a full export.
• Rectification , have inaccurate data corrected.
• Erasure , where there is no (longer any) legal retention obligation.
• Restriction , have the processing temporarily suspended.
• Objection , to legitimate-interest processing or marketing.
• Data portability , receive your data in a structured format.
• Withdraw consent , immediately, without affecting services already provided.

You can exercise these rights via privacy@massakeuring.be. We handle your request within 30 calendar days.

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted storage, role-based access control, audit logs, two-factor authentication for administrators and regular backups. In the event of a data breach with a potentially high risk, we will notify you and the Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit) within the statutory period of 72 hours.

If you believe that we are not respecting your rights, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels , gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.
